Hello! Our names are Neira and Ivo and we're pleased to be your hosts! We welcome you to Dalmatia, the untouched pearl of the Mediterranean, where you will be received by the warmth and simplicity of Croatian people. The coast of Trogir is situated in the middle part of Dalmatia. Once visited, people find it hard to leave and their return is inevitable. Around 2300 years before your visit, ancient Greeks arrived here and decided to stay. They founded and named the town of Tragurion. They found this place to be very pleasant to live in as they left us monument of their god Kairos. He represents good fortune, which has to be recognised by the beholder and held onto. About a 1000 years thereafter Croats colonized this place on the Adriatic coast and named it Trogir. Thanks to it's island location Trogir (from 1242) provided safe refuge to the Croatian - Hungarian king Bela IV, who was fleeing from the Barbarian hordes. Numerous monuments of culture depicting the might of Trogir are from this period of the middle Ages. Among the most famous is the cathedral with it's wonderful portal made by Croatian master Radovan. All in all, you should take a walk through the town and discover it's antique charm for yourself. However, you have arrived here to enjoy the sea and sun - and you can be sure of a wealth of them both. The coast of Trogir is abundant with a variety of beaches. If you prefer to enjoy solitude, set sail to one of it's numerous little islands. Countless recreative content, as well as the possibility to rent boats or sea-scooters, waits for you in the surroundings of Hotel Medena. And what about your accommodation? Radogost is an ancient Croatian god whose name means that he pleasantly entertained others, however he also likes company, good food and drink. Radogost is the Croatian variant of Dionysus - the ancient Greek's god of wine. Apartments Radogost are situated in the calm fisherman's village, 5 km west of Trogir. It has two apartments for 3 people and one apartment for 5 people. There is private parking for up to 5 cars and enough space for your additional equipment. The Beach is only a 30 meters distance from the apartments. The grill is free of charge and is at your service. As your hosts we speak English, Italian and German.
